Athlete Support The U.S. Figure Skating Athlete Support (ASUPP) Fund is one that financially supports the U.S. Team Envelope Athletes by assisting them with their skating expenses. Members are selected by the International Committee Management Subcommittee and will be notified of their nomination. Once members, these athletes will receive support from the ASUPP Fund in the form of three payments during the skating season. Awards change slightly each year due to budgets and amount of new members on the team. Read more about the program and download the application on the Memorial Fund page. Scholastic Honors Team U.S. Figure Skating is in charge of the annual Scholastic Honors Team Award. Eligible Skater's Compensation Agreement The purpose of the Eligible Skater's Compensation Agreement is to provide the vehicle whereby skaters may enter into an arrangement providing financial assistance while still protecting their eligibility to compete in U.S. Figure Skating, ISU. or Olympic competitions. The ESCA is an extremely important resource for athletes to understand. |
Sponsorship Sponsorships are agreements between the sponsor and the athlete only — U.S. Figure Skating is not involved in this agreement. This section gives you guidelines for sponsorship arrangements and includes a link to download the Sponsorship Information packet. More Awards and Grants Skaters have many opportunities to seek out financial assistance from areas outside U.S. Figure Skating. The U.S. Olympic Committee provides awards and grants to athletes.
