Team USA Prep Seminar


Team USA Prep Seminar is an educational program for all novice-level athletes/teams who qualify for the U.S. Figure Skating Championships as well as their parents and coaches. Skaters qualify to compete based on their placements at their respective sectional championships. Approximately 150-200 people will participate in the Team USA Prep Seminar program.

The seminar consists of a breakfast with a guest speaker(s), presentations to introduce athletes to Team USA, off-ice conditioning, seasonal planning, and concepts of athlete development.

The seminar takes place on the day following the conclusion of the novice events at the U.S. Championships.

2013 Team USA Prep Seminar

The 2013 Team USA Prep Seminar consists of breakfast with a guest speaker, along with presentations and activities to introduce yourself to the concepts of Team USA, including team building, off-ice conditioning, mental training and training an athlete for life and not just for a season.
