On their way

Keauna McLaughlin and Rockne Brubaker are in a hurry.

In their two seasons together, the U.S. pairs champions have won six of the nine major events they have entered, including the 2007 ISU World Junior Championships. In the fall of 2007, their first on the senior ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series, they pocketed two silver medals.

So, while no U.S. pair has won a World medal since 2002 or an Olympic medal since 1988, it's not surprising that McLaughlin and Brubaker are anxious to end the drought.
