| Rachel Hoang |
Age: 7
Home club: Skating Club of Boston
Skating level: No test
Coach: Mark Mitchell and Peter Johansson
Favorite skaters: I love my big sister Lambsey because she is the best skater to me! I also like Sasha Cohen because she feels her music and she's very pretty with beautiful spirals.
How often I skate: I skate three to four times a week
How I got started: I started skating when I was 2 1/2, then I got my coaches when I was 6.
Favorite jumps/moves: I love all of my jumps. I can't wait to learn the Axel. I also love my spiral because it makes me feel like a butterfly.
Favorite skating moment: My favorite skating moment was when I competed in interpretation at our club competition. It was my first competition and it was so much fun.
Goals: I want to land my Lutz and get my camel spins perfect.
What I love about skating: I love my coaches, skating at my club with all my friends, and I especially love competing. Also, I do jumps, spins and everything better when the music is on. I feel every beat of the music -- it makes me so happy.
What else you should know about me:I have a little brother who skates with me sometimes. I love to write stories, read, draw, sing and dance. I want to become an artist and a figure skating coach someday.
