February 2005

| Olivia Tyler |
Age: 14
Home club: Lincoln Center FSC
Skating level: Open Juvenile
Coaches: Katie Baxter and Donny Adair
Favorite skater: Sasha Cohen, because she moves so beautifully across the ice.
How long have I been skating: I have been skating with professional coaching since I was 11 years old.
Favorite jumps/moves: Axel and double loop; layback spins and tangos.
Favorite skating moment: My favorite skating moment was winning a preliminary competition in Nashville, Tenn., for my first coach, Joe Summerfield. He was moving to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and it was our last competition and a special win for me.
Goals: To land my double Axel consistently, and to pass my junior moves and earn gold in freestyle moves in the field and dance.
What else you should know about me: I am a high school freshman at Walden High School in Louisville, Ky., and am on a four-year partial scholarship. I love being part of a small high school environment and I have great, supportive teachers. I recently played the role of “Lucy” in our school play, Dracula. I love to read and watch Nicole Kidman movies. I live with my parents, four rescued dogs and two rescued cats.
