| Lisa Marie Martin |
Age: 17
Home club: Individual member
How often I skate: Four times a week
How I got started: I went on a youth group retreat, and we skated on some pond ice. When I came back I enrolled in group lessons. I have skated year round since I was 15 1/2 years old.
Favorite jumps/moves: Double Salchow, falling leaf jump, sit spin.
Favorite skater: Michelle Kwan. She is a beautiful and graceful skater. I also like Dorothy Hamill because she brought personality to the ice.
Favorite skating moment: In February of this year I finished first in no-test freestyle at the Keystone State Games. My friends came over to me and told me that I needed to come with them to see the results. When I did, I saw my name first!
Goals: To land all of my doubles consistently.
What else you should know about me: I coach part time and have a job at a retirement home. I also play the violin and enjoy rollerblading and biking.
