June/July 2009

| Hadley Alice Stimson |
Age: 8
Hometown: Marlborough, Conn.
Home club: Connecticut Skating Academy
Level: No test free skate
Coach: Donna Mitchell, Steve Moore, Svetlana Kulikova
How often I skate: Four to five days a week, for about two hours each day
Favorite jumps/moves: Loop, Lutz, sit spin, backspin and split jump
Favorite skaters: Sasha Cohen, Michelle Kwan, Rachael Flatt and Jenna Longo (Haydenettes)
Memorable moment: Skating in a benefit show with Emily Hughes and other well known professional skaters. I got to meet her, skate with her and get her autograph. It was really cool.
How I got started: My mom took me to a Snowplow Sam class when I was 5. The first few weeks I was the worst skater in the class but by the end of the three months you couldn't beat me and I was hooked.
Goals: To pass my pre-juvenile moves, land my Axel clean and perfect my Biellmann spin.
What else you should know about me: I am a third grader. In addition to being a freestyle skating competitor, I am a member of Team Millennium Synchronized Skating's juvenile team.
