How often I skate: I skate about 2–3 hours a day, two days a week.
How long I've been skating: Six years
Favorite jumps/moves: The Axel, as well as the flying camel and layback spins

What I like about skating: I like that when you learn something new, it's always a challenge. I like the feeling of gliding on the ice fast enough to feel like I'm flying. I also like feeling nervous before a show or competition. Weird, huh?
Goals: My goals in skating are to do the best I can and to maybe one day make it to the Olympics.
Favorite skating moment: My favorite skating moments are just stepping on the ice for a daily session. I love seeing friends, learning new things and improving old things.
How I got started skating: I was watching Michelle Kwan skating on TV. When she did a layback spin, I knew I wanted to be able to do that, too!
What else you should know about me: I'm a seventh grader at Indian Woods Middle School. I have two sisters, Lindsey and Rachel, and a brother, James. I have a cousin, Yakira, who also figure skates.
