Age: 5
Hometown: DeLeon Springs, Fla.
Club: Daytona Beach FSC
Favorite skaters: My favorite famous skaters are "Woody," "Jessie" and "Little Bo Peep" from Disney's Toy Story II on Ice, but my most favorite skater is my big cousin Kaylee Peeples.
How often I skate: I skate for about 45 minutes to one hour, two days a week. Thirty minutes of that is private lessons with my coaches Svetlana Serkeli and Andrei Zharkov.
How long I've been skating: A little over a year and a half
Favorite jumps/moves: The Waltz jump. I also love to practice my spirals — they make me feel like a princess.
What I like about skating: During "club ice," I love to follow my cousin Kaylee and her friends and try to do what they do. I really look up to them.
Goals: Well, since I'm only 5, my goal is to make friends, skate pretty and have a lot of fun.
Favorite skating moments: When my skating club threw a Sept. 11 benefit ice show and I got to be the horse in Yankee Doodle Dandy (see picture).
How I got started skating: My mommy and I went to a public session at my local rink and saw they had lessons. I started out in their learn-to-skate program and went on to private lessons.
Accomplishments: I competed in my first competition in Tampa, Fla., in 2002. I was a little scared, but the judges were very nice and I won third place.
What else you should know about me: I started school this year at St. Barnabas in Deland, Fla. I love to swim and play with my best friend and cousin Lauren Mullen, who has just recently started skating lessons.
