Athlete High Performance
Senior Director, Athlete High Performance
Oversees the day-to-day operations of the department
Director, Performance Enhancement and Tracking
- Manage the Performance Enhancement and Tracking Program
- Monitors and tracks athletes
- Mentors coaches
- Manages the plan investment funding
- Member of the High Performance Strategy Team
U.S. Teams Manager
Provides operational support for members of the U.S. Figure Skating Team envelope and those selected to international competitions including, but not limited to, the following areas:
- Manages the logistics for all Team USA international competitions
- Manages the logistics for the team envelopes for singles, pairs and dance
- Provides support to members regarding athlete funding
- Manages programs to assist in the success of elite athletes at international competitions
- Acts as liaison to the International Committee
Sports Sciences and Medicine Manager
- Oversees the integration of sports medicine and science practices into the high performance program and, in part, the athlete development department
- Creates and provide injury prevention/rehabilitation education
- Monitors elite athlete injuries
- Monitors and track elite athletes in the areas relating to sports science and medicine
- Manages the anti-doping program and is the primary liaison to USADA/WADA
- Interfaces with USOC Sports Medicine
- Serves as liaison to team doctors and athletic trainers
- Serves as staff liaison to the Sports Sciences and Medicine Committee
- Serves as liaison to the PSA on the implementation of science-based coaching strategy
Athlete High Performance Administrator and Logistics Coordinator
- Assists with the administration of elite support services, including doping control, athlete funding, ESCAs, EAHI Insurance and training support
- Coordinates the compliance of Team USA coaches' continuing education requirements, coaches registration for qualifying competitions and coaches' membership with U.S. Figure Skating and the PSA
- Serves as an additional liaison for the Coaches and AAC committees
- Assists in department administrative needs
- Coordinates logistical support for camps and seminars
