Team USA Gets Excited for the Summer Olympics!

(8/13/04) — U.S. Figure Skating Online's Summer Fun series is back, and we've got some fun facts about Team USA athletes. We posed the questions, and our athletes responded. Every week for the rest of the summer, we'll let you know what's on our athletes' mind. You'll find out what they'll be watching at this summer's Olympic Games, what their ideal summer jobs would be, and more. This week we posed the question:
What sport or athlete are you most looking forward to watching during this year's Summer Olympics?

I love to watch the gymnastics part of the Summer Olympics. It blows me away to see how talented and flexible those gymnasts are. I admire all of them for their dedication and hard work.

All of the sports in the Summer Olympics are fascinating to watch, but I am most looking forward to the diving meets. Every movement a diver makes must be as precise and perfect as possible every single time. I enjoy seeing who can perform the most perfectly under a pressure-cooker competition like the Olympics.
