U.S. Skaters Win Seven Medals on Last Day at Grand Prix Final and JGP Final
(12/13/08) - U.S. skaters won seven medals on the final day of competition at the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final and Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final in Goyang City, Republic of Korea. Jeremy Abbott became the first U.S. man to be crowned Grand Prix Final champion, while Johnny Weir and ice dancers Meryl Davis & Charlie White each won the bronze. In the JGP Final, Becky Bereswill and ice dancers Madison Chock & Greg Zuerlein each took home the gold, Madison Hubbell & Keiffer Hubbell won the silver in ice dancing, and Alexe Gilles claimed the bronze.
