(12/19/11) - Single-session tickets are now on sale for the 2012 ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships. The Championships are set for Feb. 9-12, 2012, at the Colorado Springs World Arena in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Starting at $9 per seat, tickets are available to each of the nine sessions listed below. For more information or to purchase tickets, please visit www.2012fourcontinents.com.

On the same day as single session tickets went on sale to the general public for the event, Colorado Springs Mayor Steve Bach led the dedication of a 45-foot vinyl building wrap of Rachael Flatt. Located on the northwest corner of Tejon Street and Pikes Peak Avenue in downtown Colorado Springs, the wrap will be on display through the Championships.

Flatt, a former longtime resident of Colorado Springs and 2010 Olympian, recently relocated to Palo Alto, Calif., to study at Stanford University. Flatt has competed in two Four Continents Championships, placing seventh in 2009 and fourth in 2011.

All-event ticket packages are still available. At discounted prices, all-event packages include access to all practice sessions and a ticket to the Skating Spectacular, an exhibition featuring the top five finishers in each discipline.

Held annually since 1999, the ISU (International Skating Union) Four Continents Figure Skating Championships feature skaters from the Americas, Asia, Africa and Oceania. Skaters compete in singles, pairs and ice dancing. The U.S. delegation will be comprised of three athletes or teams in each discipline and will be named following the 2012 Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships from San Jose, Calif. at the end of January.

Recent Four Continents titlists include reigning Olympic champions Yu-Na Kim of Korea and Evan Lysacek, 2011 World champion ice dancers Meryl Davis & Charlie White and 2011 World champion Patrick Chan of Canada, who lives in Colorado Springs, trains at the Broadmoor Skating Club and has expressed his intent to compete at Four Continents.

The event was previously held in Colorado Springs in 2006 and '07, while the 2011 version of the event was held in Taipei City, Chinese Taipei.
