All-Event Tickets On Sale Now for 2014 HHonors Skate America

(4/28/14) - All-event ticket packages for 2014 Hilton HHonor Skate America will go on sale at 11 a.m. ET on Monday, May 5, 2014. Skate America, the first of six stops on the International Skating Union (ISU) Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series, will take place Oct. 24-26, at Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Ill.

Tickets packages will be available at as well as through the venue website at, the Sears Centre Arena box office or by calling 1-888-SEARSTIX. Ticket packages will include admission to all five ticketed sessions, including the Skating Spectacular, an exhibition following the competition. Entry to all official practice sessions will be included in all-event ticket packets.

The complete list of athletes selected to compete at 2014 Hilton HHonors Skate America and the remaining Grand Prix Series events will also be announced June 27.

Single-session tickets will go on sale Aug. 1, 2014.

Skate America will feature three days of competition in ladies, men's, pairs and ice dance. The field of competitors will include 56 world-class athletes, some of whom competed at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in February.

Past Skate America titlists include five-time World champion and two-time Olympic medalist Michelle Kwan and Olympic champions Kristi Yamaguchi, Scott Hamilton, Evan Lysacek and Meryl Davis and Charlie White.

Other stops on the Grand Prix Series include Skate Canada International, Cup of China, Trophee Eric Bompard, Rostelecom Cup and NHK Trophy. Skaters earn points throughout the Grand Prix Series to qualify for the Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final each December. The 2014 Grand Prix Final will be held Dec. 11-14, in Barcelona, Spain.

NBC will kick off its season-long coverage of the ISU Grand Prix Series with two hours live at Skate America from 4-6 p.m. (ET) on Sunday, Oct. 26. Icenetwork will stream live coverage of the entire Grand Prix Series on a subscription basis. NBC will carry same-weekend coverage of the remaining Grand Prix events, while Universal Sports will broadcast live and delayed coverage throughout the Grand Prix season. Broadcast details will be announced at a later date.

7-10 p.m. - Session 1 - Ice dance short dance and men's short program

Saturday, October 25
Noon-3 p.m. - Session 2 - Pairs and ladies short programs
7-10 p.m. - Session 3 - Ice dance free dance and men's free skate (award ceremonies for ice dance and men)

Sunday, October 26
1:30-5 p.m. - Session 4 - Pairs and ladies free skates (award ceremonies for pairs and ladies)
7-9:30 p.m. - Session 5 - Skating Spectacular
