The closest airport to the hotel is the Denver International Airport (DEN), which is approximately 26 miles from the Hilton Garden Inn. U.S. Figure Skating will be working with the hotel and Super Shuttle to try to arrange a group rate and will provide more information to those accepted to the seminar. Estimated round trip cost is $40.

Thursday, April 19 - 5 pm to 10 pm
- Introduction to the IJS - equipment, roles, language, codes. Review of levels of difficulty.
- Mandatory for those seeking a first appointment or holding a nonqualifying appointment

- Testing for National Candidates

    • Note: The focus of this seminar is to train people on proper procedures for specialists, controllers and data, and video. Since this seminar will be offered prior to the 2012 ISU Congress, we will not have the rules for the 2013 season. Webinars/conference calls will be utilized throughout the 2013 season to communicate rule changes as necessary. More information on this will be provided after the Congress in June, as necessary.

    Qualifications
    To be eligible, you must adhere to the qualifications set forth in the 2012 U.S. Figure Skating Rulebook, TPCR 4.00-4.04, and the Advancement Guidelines available on the U.S. Figure Skating website. It is your responsibility to verify your qualifications prior to applying.

    If you are applying to advance your current certification, you must first submit a Technical Panel Application for Advancement to the appropriate Sectional Vice Chair (SVC) on the Technical Panel Committee. Please refer to the Technical Panel Advancement Procedures for more information.

  • $150 for non-U.S. Figure Skating members
  • $125 for U.S. Figure Skating members seeking an appointment/promotion or recertification
  • $100 for U.S. Figure Skating members already holding an appointment who would like to practice but don't want to test for advancement

  • $150 for non-U.S. Figure Skating members
  • $125 for U.S. Figure Skating members seeking an appointment/promotion or recertification

  • National faculty

    • Expenses including travel, hotel and meals are the responsibility of each attendee.
