Participants are welcome to attend the National Coaches College and the Technical Panel Seminar. However, participants will not be able to attend the Synchronized Training Festival if they attend the Technical Panel Seminar because the schedules of those two events will conflict.

• Certification for new technical controllers and technical specialists for synchronized skating
  
• Advancement for certified technical controllers and specialists for synchronized skating
  
• Certification for new data operators for synchronized skating
  
• Advancement for data operators for synchronized skating
  
• Practice/activity for certified technical controllers, specialists and data operators for synchronized skating
  
• Observer spaces for coaches and skaters interested in learning more about the IJS and how technical panel officials are trained but not interested in being certified

To be eligible, you must adhere to the qualifications set forth in the 2012 U.S. Figure Skating Rulebook, TPCR 4.00-4.04, and the Advancement Guidelines available on the U.S. Figure Skating website. It is your responsibility to verify your qualifications prior to applying.

If you are applying to advance your current certification, you must first submit a Technical Panel Application for Advancement to the appropriate Sectional Vice Chair (SVC) on the Technical Panel Committee. Please refer to the Technical Panel Advancement Procedures for more information.

Data Operators

• $150 for non-U.S. Figure Skating members
  
• $125 for U.S. Figure Skating members seeking an appointment/promotion or recertification
  
• $100 for U.S. Figure Skating members already holding an appointment who would like to practice but don't want to test for advancement
  

Specialists

• $150 for non-U.S. Figure Skating members
  
• $125 for U.S. Figure Skating members seeking an appointment/promotion or recertification
  
• $100 for U.S. Figure Skating members already holding an appointment who would like to practice but don't want to test for advancement
  

Controllers

• $75 for non-U.S. Figure Skating members
  
• $50 for U.S. Figure Skating members seeking an appointment/promotion or recertification
  
• $25 for U.S. Figure Skating members already holding an appointment who would like to practice but don't want to test for advancement
  

Other

• $75 for observers
  

Cost includes:

• International faculty
  
• Two days of intensive IJS training
  
• Testing for certification or advancement (except for observers)
  

Expenses including travel, hotel, meals and transportation during the seminar are the responsibility of each attendee.

Applications will be reviewed for acceptance and will be notified of acceptance via e-mail AFTER June 1 but no later than June 15.
