The Technical Panel Committee of U.S. Figure Skating will be hosting a Technical Panel Continuing Education School in singles, pairs and ice dancing for technical specialists, technical controllers and data operators in those disciplines. The school will be held in conjunction with the 2013 U.S. International Figure Skating Classic in Salt Lake City, Utah, Sept. 13-15.
In addition to offering continuing education, testing will be offered for those who already hold a nonqualifying or regional appointment who are approved to test for promotion to the regional or sectional level. We are not able to offer testing for national appointments at this school, nor are we able to offer testing for initial certification. Who can attend
The school is open to technical controllers and technical specialists already holding an appointment in the discipline in which they want to participate. Those interested in pairs and ice dancing who do not hold any appointments in the discipline in which they want to participate may still apply to attend the school for educational purposes but will only be accepted if space permits.
The school is open to data operators already holding an appointment in singles, pairs and ice dancing. Those interested in the data operator role for singles, pairs and ice dancing who do not hold any appointments may still apply to attend the school for educational purposes but will only be accepted if space permits. Fees include:
*Those who would like to attend more than one discipline may do so without having to pay a second fee; however, the schedules for the disciplines will overlap, so if you attend more than one, you will not be able to attend all sessions for each discipline. Testing for advancement is allowed in only one discipline and category per attendee. Expenses including travel, hotel and meals are the responsibility of each attendee. However, reservations at the Hilton will be handled through U.S. Figure Skating so please don't contact the hotel directly. How to register
