Derrick Delmore Added to Roster for Marshalls U.S. Figure Skating Challenge

(3/7/05) — With the addition of seventh-place U.S. finisher Derrick Delmore, the roster for the 2005 Marshalls U.S. Figure Skating Challenge in Tampa, Fla., on March 29 has been finalized. The event will feature the best figure skaters in the United States competing one free skate under the 6.0 judging system. $200,000 in prize money is up for grabs at the event.

Among those competing are five-time World and nine-time U.S. champion Michelle Kwan, 2004 World silver medalist Sasha Cohen, and two-time U.S. champion Johnny Weir. The skaters will compete head-to-head at the St. Pete Times Forum at 7 p.m.

The event will be nationally broadcast by ABC Sports on April 16 from 4-6 p.m. EST. Times are subject to change; check your local listings.
