Change to Olympic Athlete Selection Procedure

(12/10/05) - Based on ISU Communication No. 1355 dated November 14, 2005, stating the deadline for submitting the athlete entry forms for the 2006 Olympic Winter Games to the Torino Organizing Committee (TOROC) as no later than January 30, 2006, U.S. Figure Skating submitted a request to the USOC to modify the athlete selection procedures. The USOC Board of Directors considered the request to modify the procedures at their December 8 meeting. The USOC approved the request to modify the selection procedures as posted on the web site.
