Athlete Members
The athlete members of the BOD are elected by the Athletes. The Athlete members shall comprise no less than 20% of the BOD. Currently there are three (3) Athletes elected as voting members of the BOD.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Voting members of the BOD
- Attend all BOD meetings and conference calls
- Communicate decisions of the BOD to the Athletes and discuss issues relevant to the USFS and to the Athletes for representation to the BOD.
Other Activities
- Lead conference calls and meetings on a regular basis with the Athletes to gather issues and present them to the BOD

Reports to: The President and; the Chair, Athletes Advisory Committee
Qualifications:
Highly Recommended:
- Current or recent past competitive skater elected by the Athletes and have represented the U.S. in an international figure skating competition within the preceding ten years.
- Served as a delegate or attended USFS Governing Council for a minimum of 1 year
Recommended:
- Excellent communication (oral or written) skills
