The Prudential Skating Fund
The Prudential Skating Fund was established with the purpose of providing funding to eligible U.S. Figure Skating member clubs and/or programs that address social needs or benefit underserved groups and communities in the sport of figure skating.
Meeting the challenges of diversity head on with the support of Prudential, U.S. Figure Skating will distribute $25,000 in two categories during the 2017-18 season. Funds will be allocated to qualifying clubs and programs throughout the United States to develop or enhance existing, community-based programs and events that create opportunities that attract, involve and inspire new generations of figure skaters.
The Building Block award in the amount of $15,000 will be awarded to a new program or initiative that shares the mission of the Prudential Skating Fund. Previous Prudential Skating fund recipients are not eligible to apply for this award.
The Enrichment award in the amount of $10,000 will be awarded to an existing program or initiative. The purpose of this award is to provide funding that will allow for significant enhancements and/or increased participation to an existing or repeating project that shares the mission of the Prudential Skating Fund.
The Prudential Skating Fund supports organizations and programs whose mission and operations are non-discriminatory. The Fund focuses its resources to support organizations whose activities and programs address social needs or benefit underserved groups and communities.
