The 2016 U.S. Adult Figure Skating Championships, hosted by the Ann Arbor Figure Skating Club, will take place April 5-9 at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The U.S. Adult Championships, which have been held annually since 1995, will feature nearly 400 skaters competing in more than 100 events.

Competitors at the U.S. Adult Championships are divided into five age groups (21-35, 36-45, 46-55, 56-65, 66+) and two tracks (masters and adults). Events are held in singles, pairs and ice dance and in free skates, dramatic and light entertainment. Skaters qualify for championship events by placing in the top four at one of three sectional championships held earlier this year.

This year's championship events feature reigning U.S. adult gold ladies champion Rochelle Revor, reigning U.S. masters intermediate/novice ladies and men’s champions Avery Bandel and Charles Huang, reigning U.S. adult ice dance champions Shay Sterlace and Yovanny Durango and reigning U.S. masters junior/senior men’s champion Daniel Palmeri.

Starting at $10 per day, tickets are available at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube box office. Children ages 5 and under are free.

Icenetwork will provide free on-demand video, results, recaps, photos and more from the event for all users.
